The Provincial Agricultural Technology Center organized relevant personnel from the agricultural and rural departments at the provincial, municipal and county levels to form a random inspection team, adopting a combination of online and offline methods, and strictly followed the relevant provisions of the “Silkworm Seed Management Measures” and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs’ sericulture industry products The Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center’s “Notice on Carrying out Quality Spot Inspections of Silkworm Seeds for Production in 2023” requires the work to be carried out.
Based on the actual situation of silkworm seed production in Shandong Province, Shandong Guangtong Silkworm Breed Co., Ltd. was determined to be the subject of random inspection. In accordance with the requirements of “double randomization and one disclosure”, on-site staff randomly inspected 2 batches of the company’s original silkworm seeds. , 14 batches of first-generation hybrids of silkworms were inspected on-site for the original seed reduction rate, number of good eggs per moth and other indicators, and then the samples were sent to the Sericulture Industry Product Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center (Zhenjiang) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Carry out inspection and testing of other items in a unified manner.
