Turkey makes a negative final ruling on the third anti-dumping review of Chinese chemical fiber blankets
On August 4, 2019, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2019/25 on chemical fiber blankets originating in China (Turkish: “sentetikliflerdenbattaniyeler (elektrikliolanlarhari?) veseyahatbattaniyeleri” , “di?erbattaniyelerveseyahatbattaniyeleri”, “yaln?z,kesilerekbattaniyeeldeedilebilenruloveyakesilmi?halde?rmetüylümensucat”) made a negative final ruling on the third anti-dumping sunset review: if the current anti-dumping measures are cancelled, the import of the products involved will be dumped on Turkey and the dumping will have a negative impact on Turkey. The damage caused to the industry will not continue or reoccur. Therefore, the imposition of anti-dumping duties on Chinese chemical fiber blankets has been terminated. The products involved include synthetic fiber blankets (non-electric blankets), travel blankets, and knitted plush blankets, with tax numbers 6301.40, 6301.90, 6001.10.00.00.11, and 6001.92.
On January 12, 2019, Turkey launched the third anti-dumping sunset review investigation against Chinese chemical fiber carpets.
