Hunan Province establishes Textile and Clothing Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee

How to innovate and reform textile and clothing vocational education, and how to integrate industry-education and school-enterprise cooperation? Recently, the founding meeting of the Hunan Textile and Garment Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Hunan Textile and Garment Steering Committee”) was held at Hunan Arts and Crafts Vocational College.

” More than 80 people including experts and scholars from industry enterprises, all members of the Hunan Provincial Textile and Garment Industry Steering Committee, and school teacher and student representatives attended the meeting.

Xia Nengquan, president of Hunan Arts and Crafts Vocational College, pointed out that the establishment of the Hunan Textile and Garment Steering Committee is an important measure to strengthen industry guidance, evaluation and services, deepen the integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation, and further improve the modern vocational education system. As the first deputy chairman and secretary-general unit of the Hunan Provincial Textile and Garment Industry Steering Committee, the school will strongly support the work of the Hunan Provincial Textile and Garment Industry Steering Committee and provide necessary working conditions; designate specialized departments and dedicated personnel to assist in handling the Hunan Provincial Textile and Garment Industry Steering Committee. The daily work of the committee; actively build a working platform for the Hunan Provincial Textile and Garment Steering Committee; try our best to provide working funds for the Hunan Provincial Textile and Garment Steering Committee, and make due contributions to Hunan vocational education and the textile and garment industry.

At the meeting, Gao Jianmin, Secretary-General of the Hunan Provincial Textile and Garment Steering Committee, interpreted the charter of the Hunan Provincial Textile and Garment Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee. Mu Xuemei, a member of the Hunan Provincial Textile and Garment Industry Steering Committee, interpreted the 2023 work plan of the Hunan Provincial Textile and Garment Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee. Subsequently, 27 members of the Hunan Provincial Textile and Garment Steering Committee communicated and discussed with each other, reviewed and voted to adopt the Provincial Textile and Garment Steering Committee Charter, and agreed on the 2023 work plan.

The Hunan Provincial Textile and Garment Steering Committee will give full play to the role of expert organizations, gather the strength and wisdom of experts from the government, industry enterprises, and colleges, promote the integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation, deepen the teaching reform of textile and garment vocational education, and promote the promotion of textile and garment vocational education.
