The EU launches an anti-dumping midterm review investigation into Chinese polyester high-strength yarn
On June 30, 2022, the European Commission issued an announcement stating that in response to the European Manmade Fibers Association (the CIRFS – European ManmadeFibres Association)’s announcement on April 1, 2022 and May 2022, respectively The application submitted on March 16 initiated a mid-term review investigation into the anti-dumping measures applicable to high tenacity yarns of polyesters originating in China, and also initiated a mid-term review investigation into Zhejiang Hailide New Material Co., which had received a zero tax rate in the original review. Ltd. (Zhejiang Hailide New Materials Company) once again launched an anti-dumping investigation. The EU CN code of the product involved is 54022000 (TARIC code is 5402200010). The investigation period of this case is from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021, and the damage investigation period is from January 1, 2018 to the end of the dumping investigation period.

On December 1, 2010, the European Union made a final affirmative anti-dumping ruling on polyester high-strength yarn originating in China. On November 28, 2015, the European Union launched its first anti-dumping sunset review investigation into polyester high-strength yarn originating in China. On February 25, 2017, the European Commission made its first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on polyester high-strength yarn originating in China. On February 23, 2022, the European Commission launched the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation into polyester high-strength yarn originating in China.
