The United States implements a recall of Chinese children’s pajamas
On January 19, 2023, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.
The recalled product is children’s button-down long-sleeved one-piece pajamas of the NewCosplay brand of MianzhuYeXin Trading Co., Ltd. The product is made of 100% polyester, sold in sizes 4T to 10 years old, and comes in yellow chicken, white chicken, raccoon, koala, giraffe, cow, panda, purple unicorn, rainbow yellow unicorn, pink Character styles such as Unicorn, Blue Unicorn and Star Unicorn. Fiber content and washing instructions are printed on the side seam tags, and the neck sewn tag shows the garment’s size and the words “NEWCOSPLAY.”
The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.
The recalled products were sold in the United States from November 2021 to May 2022. About 780 pieces were sold, priced at approximately US$17-26.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
CPSC recommends that you should stop using this product immediately and contact MianzhuYeXin Trading Co., Ltd. for a full refund.
