Canada implements recall of Chinese-made children’s bathrobes
On November 7, 2022, Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s bathrobes.
The recalled products are Ekouaer girls’ long-sleeved home cotton bathrobes with pockets and zippers, sizes 110 (4-5T), 120 (6- 7T), 130(8-9T), 140(10-11T), 150(12-13T).
The product does not meet the flammability requirements for children’s pajamas in the “Children’s Pajamas Regulations” and may cause severe burns to large areas of the child’s body.
The products recalled were sold in Canada from September 2021 to October 2022, with approximately 1,909 units sold.
As of October 27, 2022, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
Health Canada recommends that you stop using this product immediately and contact Ekouaer for further instructions and a refund.
