The EU suspends preferential GSP tariff treatment for specific products from India, Indonesia and Kenya
According to the European Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1039, starting from January 1, 2023, goods originating in the generalized preferential tariff system ( The list of products from GSP) beneficiary countries will suspend their preferential tariff treatment until December 31, 2023.
The list of GSP beneficiary countries and products that will suspend the application of tariff preferences from January 1, 2023 is as follows:
The suspension of these preferences is based on EU Law No. 978/2012 because the amount of EU imports of these products from the above-mentioned countries has exceeded the set threshold for three consecutive years.
