The textile industry is an important economic sector in Jordan
On January 10, King Abdullah II met with representatives of the textile industry department at the palace, and Prime Minister Hasavanah attended. The king pointed out that the textile industry is an important economic sector in Jordan and makes an important contribution to promoting employment. Hasavana said that the textile industry is one of Jordan’s largest export sectors, providing a total of 76,000 jobs and accounting for 21% of total exports in 2021.
