The European Commission calls for the development of a sustainable and circular textiles plan from 2030. The plan will formulate ecological design rules, and textiles will be the first industry to be piloted. By 2030, the EU will become the largest market for sustainable clothing products in the world.
According to LeTien Truong, chairman of Vietnam Textile and Apparel Group (Vinatex), if Vietnam’s textile and apparel industry wants to continue to sell to the world, it needs to follow the above trends.
