Through the implementation of demonstration comparative experiments and the creation of high-quality and high-yield demonstration fields, the region has built a cotton variety comparison and screening platform, and released a recommended catalog of regional high-quality cotton varieties. Each cotton-growing county (city) determines the main high-quality cotton varieties in the county based on climatic conditions and production actual conditions. At the same time, the seed management departments of the regional and county (city) agricultural and rural bureaus supervise and guide enterprises to standardize the breeding procedures of improved seeds, pay close attention to cotton seed quality testing, strengthen market supervision and management, and prevent incidents that harm farmers.
