Cotton production cost forecast in Aksu region in 2021
Recently, the Aksu Regional Development and Reform Commission conducted a survey on the planting and production costs of some farmers in Kuqa City, Wensu County, Shaya County, and Awati County, the cotton sampling survey points determined within its jurisdiction. Based on the field investigation, a preliminary forecast was made of cotton production cost, output, and output value in 2021, and compared with the previous year’s data to provide a basic basis for the autonomous region’s policy decision-making.
Comparison of yield per mu: This year’s predicted yield per mu is 132 kilograms, an increase of 3 kilograms from the previous year’s yield of 129 kilograms, and a year-on-year growth rate of 2.27%.
Comparison of output value per mu: This year’s predicted output value per mu is 1956.24 yuan/mu, an increase of 48.97 yuan compared with the previous year’s output value of 1907.265 yuan/mu, and a year-on-year growth rate of 2.50%.
Total cost comparison: This year’s total cost is predicted to be 2,413.23 yuan/mu, an increase of 33.39 yuan compared with the previous year’s total cost of 2,379.84 yuan/mu, and a year-on-year growth rate of 1.38%.
From the above data, it can be seen that, without being affected by natural disasters, it is expected that the cotton output per mu, output value per mu, and total cost will not change significantly this year, and will be basically the same as last year. This will help improve cotton farmers’ enthusiasm for planting and ensure income. play a positive role.
