The Jiangsu Provincial Mass Culture Association Su-style Cheongsam Art Professional Committee was established in Suzhou

On the afternoon of June 18th, the establishment and awarding ceremony of the Jiangsu Provincial Mass Culture Society’s Su style cheongsam art professional committee was held at Suzhou Shantang Street Embroidery LadySilk Jiangnan Held within the Weaving House project.

At the meeting, Dai Zhongli, former director of the Business Development Department of the Jiangsu Federation of Literary and Art Circles and founder of the Jiangsu Cheongsam Cultural Heritage Fund, first introduced the preparatory work for the establishment of the Supai Cheongsam Art Professional Committee. Zhong Qiu, deputy secretary-general of the Jiangsu Provincial Mass Culture Society, read out the Jiangsu Provincial Mass Culture Society’s approval for the establishment of the Soviet-style cheongsam art professional committee and the committee’s management measures.

Subsequently, Ji Yalin, president of the Jiangsu Provincial Mass Culture Association, announced the list of members of the Jiangsu Provincial Mass Culture Association’s Su-style Cheongsam Art Professional Committee and issued letters of appointment respectively.

At the founding meeting, Ji Yalin, Deputy Director of the Suzhou Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau Xu Hongxia, Director of the Su Style Cheongsam Art Committee Qi Qiulan, and Executive Director Fu Jufen jointly unveiled the Jiangsu Province Mass Culture Association Su Style Cheongsam Art Professional Committee.

Qi Qiulan said that the Su-style Cheongsam Art Professional Committee will use the Su-style cheongsam as a carrier to promote traditional Chinese culture, unite people from all walks of life to create a research highland for Su-style cheongsam culture, and contribute to cultural inheritance and innovation.

Xu Hongxia proposed that the Suzhou Style Cheongsam Art Professional Committee should cultivate high-end talents, integrate resources from all parties, give full play to the Suzhou silk brand effect, and carry forward the Suzhou Style Cheongsam and Jiangnan culture.

Ji Yalin said that the Su-style Cheongsam Art Professional Committee will spread the beauty of cheongsam in the future and do a good job in the research, promotion, performance and display of Su-style cheongsam art. At the same time, we will strengthen management, standardize activities, and actively provide healthy, civilized, and elegant artistic services to society and the people. He hoped that the Su-style Cheongsam Art Professional Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Society of Mass Culture can help promote the development of Jiangsu’s mass cultural undertakings to a new level, and that the Su-style cheongsam can form its own characteristics, create a brand, and become an influential province-wide brand of mass cultural activities. .

After the meeting, the special committee held a small forum on the inheritance and development of Su style cheongsam, with Fu Jufen presiding over the meeting. Dai Zhongli and Liao Jun, professor and doctoral supervisor of Suzhou University, gave special speeches. The participating members had a lively discussion, each expressed his or her own opinions, and conducted an in-depth analysis of the future promotion of culture, inheritance of skills, and innovation and development of the special committee.
