According to Huangpu Customs statistics, as of June 21, the market procurement trade pilot project at Dalang Woolen Trade Center in Dongguan, Guangdong has been export scale since its launch at the end of last year. It has exceeded 10 billion yuan, and 1,487 pilot operators have been registered. The export commodities include furniture, daily necessities, textiles and clothing, etc., and are exported to 141 countries and regions in Europe, America, and Southeast Asia.
Lu Xuefang, secretary-general of the Dongguan Market Procurement Industry Alliance, said that since the epidemic, export orders of a large number of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies have shrunk significantly, and traditional manufacturing industries such as clothing and furniture have faced a huge impact. For this “fast track”, companies are currently very willing to participate in the pilot, with more than 400 new participating companies in May this year alone.
