Focusing on the industrial vision of building a world textile and fashion power, empowering economic development with science and technology, working together to cultivate and promote high-quality domestic down resources and enhance China’s voice, China Textile Engineering Society, Bayannaoer Municipal People’s Government, China Wool Textile Industry Association, China The Animal Products Circulation Association, Jiangsu Sunshine Group Co., Ltd., and ChinaTextile Industry Federation Testing Center jointly released the initiative of “Self-reliance and self-reliance to create high-quality domestic down resources”:
1. On the premise of meeting quality, advocate the priority use of domestic fine wool, actively explore ways to use domestic wool to produce high value-added products, and drive the improvement of my country’s fine wool quality and sheep breeding Improvement, self-reliance and self-reliance.
2. Pay more attention to the protection of fine cashmere goat germplasm resources, cultivate them scientifically, suppress the degradation of quality cashmere, protect the diversity of species, provide sufficient germplasm gene pool for breeding work, and maintain the international leading position of high-quality cashmere.
3. Adhere to the bottom line of self-discipline in all aspects of the entire industry chain, insist on high quality and low prices, and eliminate counterfeiting; at the same time, actively develop scientific, accurate, and convenient testing technologies to fully protect the interests of farmers and processors.
4. It is recommended that institutions with talent advantages, technological advantages and channel advantages gather in the main down production areas to create high-quality provenance bases and down processing bases with diverse characteristics to safeguard the industry create a virtuous cycle of the chain and achieve healthy regional economic development.
5. Practice the concept of innovative development, firmly establish brand awareness, and call on all major high-quality down-producing areas to carry out scientific breeding, systematic management, optimize quality, implement the traceability system for down-producing areas as soon as possible, and create local high-quality brand products.
We sincerely hope that the majority of farmers, circulation departments, production enterprises, government departments, professional institutions, news media and all sectors of society will care about and support the development of China’s down resources and work together to create new advantages for the development of the industry.
