Hanfu leads the new “national trend” consumption fashion

Recently, the Tmall Chinese Style Awards were held in Shanghai, where more than 200 Hanfu bloggers made a stunning appearance wearing customized Hanfu. From the “Tang Palace Night Banquet” co-branded model to the cross-border model of games and animation IP, Hanfu has accelerated its “breaking the circle” and led the new “national trend” consumption fashion.
The latest “Online Hanfu Insight Report” shows that the annual transaction volume of Tmall Hanfu category in 2020 increased by nearly 500% year-on-year. More than 1,200 clothing brands have added Hanfu products, and the consumption power of “post-90s” and “post-95s” continues to increase.
Shanghai has suddenly become the most popular city for wearing Hanfu. The wearing scenarios of Hanfu have gradually expanded from gatherings and garden tours to daily life. Among them, the growth rate of Hanfu wedding clothes is particularly impressive, with consumers born after 1995 accounting for more than 50%.
