Compared with normal years, the above-mentioned development period is 5 days later in Shanshan and 2-17 days earlier in others. In the past ten days, most cotton areas in Xinjiang have experienced high temperatures and low precipitation. The meteorological conditions are favorable for the growth of most cotton bolls and the splitting of bolls.
