Wusu City: Cotton picking machine “pre-job physical examination” prepares for the autumn harvest
With the autumn harvest around the corner, agricultural machinery stations in various townships in Wusu City have implemented the practical activities of “I do practical things for the masses” into action, organized technical personnel to carry out door-to-door services, and conducted comprehensive “pre-job physical examinations” of cotton picking machines. “Inspection, facing the autumn harvest, and opening up the “last mile” of serving the masses.
On August 30, at the home of Fan Yongliang, a large agricultural machinery owner in Dashuzhuangzi Village, Ganhezi Town, staff from the town’s agricultural machinery station conducted a detailed inspection of his four cotton picking machines.
Fan Yongliang said: “The staff came to my home to conduct a free annual inspection of my cotton picker, and put a reflective film on the cotton picker. They also explained to me the fire extinguisher and the safety production knowledge of the cotton picker. With their thoughtfulness service, I can harvest cotton with confidence.”
During the annual inspection of cotton picking machines, the staff of the town agricultural machinery station strictly followed the annual inspection procedures, standards and requirements, checked the picking system, fire protection facilities, etc. of each cotton picking machine, and provided free cotton picking services. Reflective films are posted on the machines, and agricultural machinery safety operation certificates and annual inspection seals are issued to cotton pickers that pass the inspection.
Toybek, director of Ganhezi Town Agricultural Machinery Station, said to Shanwai: “Our town has 60 cotton picking machines and 34 large engineering machinery. Currently, 22 cotton picking machines and 24 large engineering machinery have been inspected. Machinery, we plan to complete the maintenance and inspection of cotton picking machines before the autumn harvest to ensure safe and orderly harvesting of cotton.”
It is understood that there are 495 cotton picking machines of various types in Wusu City. Starting from mid-August, the Wusu Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau organized 15 cotton picking machine annual inspection service teams to go deep into various towns and village teams. We provide door-to-door inspections of cotton picking machines for agricultural machinery households. Up to now, nearly 300 cotton pickers of various types have been inspected, and it is expected that the fall annual inspection of cotton pickers will be completed before September 10.
