The final results of the “Huayi Cup” National Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Tie-Dyeing Vocational Skills Invitational Competition are released
From October 11th to October 13th, the finals of the “Huayi Cup” National Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Tie-Dyeing Vocational Skills Invitational Competition were held at the headquarters of Huayi Group in Haian, Jiangsu. This invitational competition is guided by the ChinaTextile Industry Federation and the Hai’an Municipal People’s Government, supported by the Textile Industry Vocational Skills Appraisal Guidance Center, the China Textile Industry Federation News Center, and the China Textile Industry Federation. The Intangible Cultural Heritage Office and Jiangsu Huayi Group are jointly organized, hosted by Shanghai Nongying Fashion Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Jiangsu Provincial Garment Association, Dyeing and Finishing Professional Committee of Jiangsu Textile Engineering Society, Nantong Textile Engineering Society, and Nantong Garment Association. As an outstanding achievement and cultural accumulation of textile intangible cultural heritage, tie-dyeing technology can fully explore and apply the cultural elements and process concepts contained in the traditional tie-dying technology by holding competitions, and use warm craftsmanship to make it popular in modern times. It has been widely used in daily life. Therefore, this invitational competition takes “Tie Dye and Contemporary Life” as its theme, and has first, second, and third prizes, as well as excellence awards, finalist awards, and other awards. After solicitation, the organizing committee received a total of 185 applications from 17 provinces, 57 units and colleges. After review and evaluation by the expert committee, a total of 42 people from 15 companies and 26 colleges were shortlisted for the “Huayi Cup” nationwide. In the Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Tie-Dyeing Vocational Skills Invitational Competition, 41 people competed in the finals.
