Two textile industrial heritage sites were selected into the fifth batch of national industrial heritage list
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the fifth batch of national industrial heritage lists to be recognized, with a total of 31 industrial heritage sites included.
Two industrial heritage sites involving the textile field are: Ningbo Hefeng Spinner Factory declared by Ningbo Hefeng Creative Plaza Investment and Operation Company, and Liuhe Silk Factory declared by Sichuan Nanchong Liuhe (Group) Co., Ltd.
Industrial heritage is an important carrier of industrial culture. It records important information at different stages of my country’s industrial development and witnesses the historical process of national and industrial development. It has important historical value, scientific and technological value, social cultural value and artistic value. Previously, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology had announced the fourth batch of 164 national industrial heritage sites.
