The technical equipment level of my country’s cotton textile industry continues to improve. The ownership of high-speed looms and fully automatic drawing machines increased by 26% and 55% respectively. The level of intelligent production and modern management has increased significantly. The product structure has been continuously optimized, the pace of green production has been accelerated, and the total PVA consumption has dropped by more than 5 percentage points, laying a solid foundation for the sustainable and high-quality development of the cotton textile industry.
In response to the national “double carbon” goal, Dong Kuiyong believes that it is both pressure and motivation. From the perspective of the implementation significance of the long-term development of the industry, building a green and low-carbon industrial system is not only a key measure to deal with climate change, but also a key measure for my country’s textile industry.
