Japanese textile companies pay attention to light and thin fabrics
Recently, the 62nd Kyoto Textile Expo came to an end in Tokyo. Eight participating companies displayed their 2019/2019 autumn and winter fabrics. Fabric manufacturing companies pay more attention to the creativity of fabrics, and light and thin fabrics are widely favored by people in the industry.
At this exhibition, exhibitors launched light and thin materials of different styles. They believe that the fashion trend of autumn and winter fabrics is changing, integrating elements such as soft feel, femininity, and leisure. Exhibitors also displayed a variety of light and thin fabrics for overlapping wear, with the theme of “The Fun of Overlapping Wearing”, involving cotton, silk, etc., which were often exhibited as spring and summer fabrics in the past.
In addition to the material itself, major fabric manufacturers in Japan are paying great attention to the creativity of fabrics, and are increasingly emphasizing the application of post-processing technology. Fabrics with a three-dimensional and concave-convex feel have attracted attention at the exhibition.
