Japan’s Toyobo launches new high wet modulus cellulose products
Japan’s Toyobo Company has produced a new type of high-humidity modulus cellulose fiber – Polynosic fiber, which is made of 100% high-purity refined imported wood pulp and Japan’s Toyobo high-humidity modulus fiber. A new type of fiber produced by the viscose method using Tufcel’s proprietary technology. Polynosic fiber not only has better wearing properties than traditional viscose fiber, but also has better wet strength and good alkali resistance, and can be mercerized. Compared with TenceI (Lyocell) fiber, the fiber structure and performance are relatively close, but it has advantages in price, processing technology, etc.
