Shishi’s textile and apparel exports get off to a good start
In January this year, the Shishi Office of Fujian Quanzhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau inspected and supervised a total of 1,746 batches of exported textiles and clothing with a value of US$97.114 million, a year-on-year increase of 237.0% and 166.9% respectively. The textile and apparel exports of Shishi, Fujian, a famous Chinese clothing city, not only got off to a good start in January, but also showed substantial growth. The main export products are swimwear, underwear, children’s clothing, etc., which are exported to more than 40 countries and regions including the European Union, the United States, and ASEAN. The Shishi Office of Quanzhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau strengthens enterprise classification management and product risk analysis, implements a “verification supervision model”, improves the coverage of electronic supervision, effectively speeds up the efficiency of customs clearance and promotes enterprises to expand product exports.
