Review of China’s sanitary elastic nonwovens and membrane materials R&D base
On August 3, 2021, the China Association of Manufacturers organized an expert group to conduct research on China’s sanitary elastic nonwovens and Membrane material research and development base for re-evaluation. After conducting on-site inspections, listening to reports, and questioning and discussing, the expert group discussed the three-year construction results and future plans of the base in terms of product research and development, talent construction, market expansion and product development. Cultivating incentive mechanisms is fundamental to upgrading the industrial base and modernizing the industrial chain. The second is to break through key common technologies for green development. Energy-saving and clean production is an important way to green production in the nonwoven industry and create a circular economy. The third is to further promote high-end, intelligent and diversified application of results. As industry benchmarks, base enterprises must highlight their role of demonstration and leadership, take the lead in exploring intelligence, digitalization and new business models, actively upgrade traditional industrial systems, actively participate in industry activities, and pay attention to brand promotion.
