Vietnam’s textile exports to the EU drop sharply
According to Vietnam’s “Financial News”, since the beginning of this year, Vietnam’s textile exports to the EU have decreased by 25-30% compared with the same period last year, mainly due to importers’ transfer and reduction of orders. In order to alleviate the difficulties faced by textile enterprises, the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade advises enterprises to reduce their reliance on imported processing, gradually increase the proportion of FOB (purchasing raw materials, producing and exporting finished products) and ODM (designing, producing and exporting finished products) and increase Use domestic natural raw materials and auxiliary materials, and strengthen technical training for workers.
