From January to February, textile and clothing exports continued to decline. There was a rebound in March, with exports that month reaching US$18.79 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13.4% and a month-on-month increase of 93.5%. Among them, textile exports were US$8.51 billion, a year-on-year and month-on-month increase of 7.7% and 99.5% respectively, and clothing exports were US$10.29 billion, a year-on-year and month-on-month increase of 18.6% and 88.8% respectively.
In the first quarter, the cumulative exports of textiles and clothing were US$50.01 billion, an increase of 2.9%, of which textile exports were US$20.44 billion, an increase of 1.4%, and clothing exports were US$29.57 billion, an increase of 3.9%.
