Vietnam’s textile industry is in short supply of raw materials
According to Vietnam’s “Youth Daily” report: The Vietnam Textile Association recently pointed out that the industry is facing a shortage of raw materials. Among them, the demand for natural cotton is 400,000 tons/year, and the domestic supply can only be 3,000 tons (only 0.75%). The domestic demand for rayon is 400,000 tons per year, but the domestic supply can only be 120,000 tons (equivalent to 30%).
