Brazil launches anti-dumping investigation into nylon yarn imported from China
On July 9, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade of Brazil issued an announcement and decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation into nylon threads imported from China, South Korea, Thailand and Chinese Taipei. The Mercosur tax numbers of the products involved are: 54023119 and 54024520.
Since China is not regarded as a market economy country in anti-dumping proceedings, Pakistan plans to choose South Korea as a surrogate country to calculate the normal value of the export products involved. Relevant enterprises involved in the case should fill in the questionnaire and submit responses within 40 days from the date of sending the questionnaire. Other interested parties can apply to Pakistan to participate in the investigation and specify their legal representatives within 20 days from the announcement date.
