In August 2021, the Jiangsu Provincial Garment Association officially released the list of “Top 50 Enterprises in the Garment Industry of Jiangsu Province in 2020”. This time, 33 of the top 50 enterprises in Jiangsu were shortlisted for the “Top 100 Enterprises in China’s Garment Industry in 2020”, and the total number of finalists ranked first in each province.
Based on the principle of “member participation and voluntary declaration”, the association ranked the top 50 enterprises in the garment industry in Jiangsu Province in 2020 based on the three indicators of “operating income”, “total profit” and “operating income profit rate”. There are 60 companies in the province on the list. Judging from the distribution of cities, there are 21 companies in Suzhou, 12 companies in Nantong, 9 companies in Nanjing, 7 companies in Wuxi, 5 companies in Changzhou, 2 companies in Yangzhou, and 1 company each in Zhenjiang, Taizhou, Yancheng, and Suqian. Among them, 4 companies have operating income exceeding 10 billion yuan, and 17 companies have operating income exceeding 1 billion yuan.
The distribution of the top ten companies in “operating revenue” by city: 3 companies in Wuxi; 2 companies each in Nanjing and Suzhou; 1 company each in Changzhou, Yangzhou and Nantong.
The distribution of the top ten companies in “total profit” by city: 2 companies each in Wuxi, Suzhou, Nanjing, and Changzhou; 1 company each in Yangzhou and Nantong.
The garment industry is Jiangsu’s advantageous industry. The companies shortlisted for the top 50 list this time are the benchmarks of Jiangsu’s garment industry and the mainstay of the high quality development of Jiangsu’s garment industry. It is also a leader in industrytechnological innovation, brand building and social responsibility.
