On the morning of August 27, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Branch held the 2021 Cotton Purchase Credit Promotion Meeting. Wang Jun, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the branch, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting reported on the progress of cotton purchase loans across the jurisdiction and problems existing in review and approval; listened to reports from seven secondary branches on the progress of cotton purchase loans; and made arrangements for the next step.

The meeting required that we should pay close attention to the domestic and foreign cotton production situation and market trends, carefully study and judge, and fight well-prepared battles. It is necessary to improve the quality and efficiency of loan processing, speed up loan credit investigation, review and approval, reasonably calculate the need for foundation funds, grasp the rhythm of fund investment, ensure that the foundation funds are in place before the end of September, and truly achieve “money waits for cotton”.
