VDMA German Textile Machinery Association will hold a webinar on textile reinforced concrete
In order to explore the important role of textilenew materials in the future development of sustainable architecture, VDMA GermanyTextile MachineryThe association will hold a webinar (English lecture) on “Textile Reinforced Concrete—The Future of Sustainable Architecture” from 20:00 to 21:00 on September 2, Beijing time.
Concrete is the most used material in the global construction industry, but it is also a major driver of carbon dioxide emissions. Textile concrete is significantly more economical and functional than traditional reinforced concrete. Due to the non-corrosive properties of textile reinforcements, textile concrete products are lighter and thinner, requiring up to 80% less concrete consumption compared to classic reinforced concrete.
In this VDMA textile machinery online lecture, experts Dr. Magdalena Kimm, SOLIDIAN, Dr. Christian Kulas and RAINA INDUSTRIES, Dr. Mohit Raina from the Institute of Textile Technology of RWTH Aachen University will focus on this topic.
This online lecture is also the beginning of VDMA’s focus on the theme of sustainable technology in circular economy. VDMA German Textile Machinery Association will organize multiple online lectures starting this fall to conduct more exchanges with the industry.
