Since mid-September, cotton in various parts of Xinjiang has gradually entered its peak period. Up to now, the new cotton growth in Wusu region of Xinjiang is normal. Except for a few cotton plants that have not yet spun out lint on their tops, the rest of the cotton plants have spun out lint. A local cotton farmer said that the cotton grown in the area is mainly machine-picked cotton. As of September 22, most cotton fields in the area have completed two defoliant spraying operations.
