Hygroscopic and exothermic fiber, whose scientific name is modified polyacrylic fiber/Mod-acrylic, is a high moisture regain modified acrylic fiber containing a variety of hydrophilic polymer groups.
In life, when ordinary close-fitting clothes are first put on, the human body feels cold. This is because there is a hot and cold temperature difference between the skin and the clothes, resulting in heat conduction. The clothes are often covered with the body, which is distressing especially in winter mornings. , and uncomfortable.
Is there any way to solve this problem?
We can’t prevent heat conduction, but we can make clothes warm by themselves. Yirebao is a new fiber material that can heat itself after absorbing water. It can make the fabric absorb the moisture (trace moisture) emitted by the human body and generate heat, speed up the balance of the temperature of the skin and clothing, and ease the adjustment of the temperature difference between the two. In addition, Miaoka’s extremely high moisture absorption performance can prevent the cold feeling after sweating, keeping the clothes dry, comfortable and warm for a long time.
Using high technology, a large number of -OH, -NH3, -COOH, -CONH and other hydrophilic groups are introduced into the molecular chain of Yirebao fiber, so that it has good temperature and humidity regulation functions.
Has high moisture regain rate: 28% (up to 50%)
The hydrophilic group content of the hygroscopic and exothermic fiber exceeds that of any natural fiber, so its hygroscopicity is very high. At a temperature of 20°C and a relative humidity of 65%, the hygroscopic capacity is about 3.5 times that of cotton.
Theoretical basis of moisture absorption and heat generation:
When people change from an indoor environment of 18°C, 45%RH to an outdoor environment of 5°C, 90%RH, the moisture regain of a 1.5kg wool garment increases from 10% to 27%, and the heat released by it absorbing water is 6000KJ is equivalent to the heat generated by human metabolism in 1.5 hours. It gives the human body enough adjustment time to adapt to the new environment.

When the fiber absorbs water, it generates heat. Heat is the energy released when the kinetic energy of the water molecules is reduced and converted into thermal energy due to the attraction between the fiber molecules and the water molecules.
