Introduction to Textile Light Technology Education Foundation
The Textile Light Science and Technology Education Foundation is based on the “Qian Zhiguang Science and Technology Education Fund” established in 1996. It is composed of a group of outstanding textile workers who have a high sense of mission and responsibility and are willing to contribute to the scientific and educational progress of the Chinese textile industry. It was established with donations from enterprises, institutions and individuals. In May 2008, it was registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs as a national textile industry foundation with a registered capital of 20 million yuan.
As of the end of 2020, the Textile Light Technology Education Foundation has supported and rewarded 1,556 textile technology awards, 4,205 outstanding teachers and students, 1,726 outstanding teaching achievement awards, 118 knitted underwear innovation contribution awards, and 63 applied basic research awards. projects, 306 scientific and technological achievements promotion projects, 283 technical experts in the national textile industry, 16 outstanding contribution awards for skilltalent cultivation and 28 award-winning units.
Since 1997, the expenditure on science and technology education public welfare activities has exceeded 100 million yuan, which has played a positive role in promoting the development of textile science and technology education.
