Yesterday, the final of the first China-Italy Youth Future Fashion Design Competition was held in Beijing, with 30 contestants competing in the Meng Minwei Concert Hall of Tsinghua University.

This competition is jointly organized by Tsinghua University, Politecnico di Milano and Keqiao District People’s Government. It is mainly open to young innovators in the field of fashion design from China, Italy and the world. It includes three categories: fashion design, fashion technology and fashion life. track. Since the launch of the competition in May this year, a total of 1,331 works have been received from 12 countries, and 30 works have finally stood out and entered the finals.

In November last year, the “China-Italy Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Year” was officially launched, and the China-Italy Youth Future Fashion Design Competition is one of the important activities. In April this year, Keqiao District and Tsinghua University signed an agreement to cooperate in building a Sino-Italian Future Fashion Innovation Center. This competition is also an important part of the Sino-Italian Future Fashion Innovation Center. The contestants who win the prize and settle in the competition will enjoy the policy support related to the “Jingwei Plan”, the special support plan for fashion creativetalent in our district.

It is reported that the award ceremony of the China-Italy Youth Future Fashion Design Competition will be held on October 26 at the opening event of the 10th Keqiao Fashion Week 2021.
