Experts investigate the development of sericulture industry in Hanyin County
On October 14, Guo Chang, senior agronomist of the Shaanxi Provincial Horticultural Sericulture Technology Workstation, and his delegation went to Hanyin to investigate and guide the development of the sericulture industry. Zhang Baohua, director of the Ankang Silkworm Breeding Farm, and director of the Sericulture Workstation of the County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau Hui Jin accompanied the investigation.
The research team went to Sihe Village, Tiefosi Town to conduct on-site research. Learn about the current status of silkworm cocoon production, pest control and mulberry orchard management this year. Have in-depth exchanges with sericulture farmers and provide valuable opinions and suggestions on the development of the sericulture industry and rural revitalization.
During the investigation, Hui Jin, director of the Sericulture Work Station of the County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, reported on the “Three Ones” model for the development of the county’s sericulture industry and the improvement of quality and efficiency of the sericulture industry. The research team fully affirmed the innovation of Hanyin County’s sericulture industry development model. Subsequently, Zhang Baohua conducted special training for sericulture farmers in Tiefosi Town on the current development trends of the sericulture industry, taught relevant knowledge and prevention and control technologies of sericulture diseases and insect pests, and provided guiding opinions on extending the sericulture industry chain. At present, Hanyin Mulberry Garden has a planting area of 25,600 acres, and more than 12,190 silkworm seeds have been distributed throughout the year. The output value of silkworm cocoons is expected to be more than 26 million yuan, making it a sunrise industry for industrial revitalization.
