During the weaving process, when the front end of the weft yarn is about to leave the cloth fell, the weft yarn holder or the air flow will release the weft yarn. At this time, the front end of the weft yarn will be in a free state. Due to the tension of the weft yarn, if it is not removed as soon as possible, When the weft yarn is held, the weft yarn will bounce back to a certain length, causing weft shrinkage (i.e. edge hem) on the cloth. The electronic edge twister can effectively hold the front end of the weft yarn that is about to be in a free state. The main features of the electronic edge twister: the left and right edge twisting times can be set independently, and different twisting times can be set according to the characteristics of the weft yarn to achieve effective edge twisting effects.
The electronic hemming device is composed of a stepper motor, an electrical control panel, a hemming frame, a hedging heald, a proximity switch and a signaling panel (see Figure 4-1). You can also directly take the angle signal of the encoder instead of approaching the switch and transmitter plate.
