Hanyin County launches special training on sericulture industry for high-quality farmers
On October 25, the Agricultural and Rural Affairs Bureau of Hanyin County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province and China Construction Bank jointly organized a professional training class for high-quality professional farmers in the county to cultivate sericulture. Wang Xiajun, the leader in charge of the county government, and Li Naizong, deputy director of the county Rural Revitalization Bureau, attended the opening ceremony. Xu Jiajun, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, presided over the meeting. A total of more than 90 people from sericulture family farms, heads of professional cooperatives and major sericulture farmers in the county participated in the training.
At the opening ceremony, Wang Xiajun, the leader of the county government, expressed his gratitude to China Construction Bank and the teaching experts for their strong support for this training. He hoped that all students would cherish the learning opportunity and take “connecting with reality and focusing on practical results” as the starting point to achieve what they have learned. It is used to promote learning and comprehensively improve the production, management and practical skills of silkworm farmers.
The training class invited Professor Liu Jiping of South China Agricultural University, Director Chen Zhengyu of Ankang Sericulture Center, and Li Chuijun, senior agronomist of Hanyin County Sericulture Station, to focus on the interpretation of rural revitalization policies, the quality and literacy of professional farmers, co-cultivation and rearing of small silkworms, and mulberry gardens. Special lectures will be given on technical contents such as standardized management, disinfection and disease prevention of sericulture, simplified breeding and mechanized application of sericulture. At the same time, students were also organized to carry out on-site teaching practice at the Xinglong Jiayuan Sericulture Training Base in Pingliang Town. This training is rich in content, diverse in form, and focused on practical results, allowing everyone to practice while learning and learn through practice.
As one of the three characteristic industries in Hanyin County, the sericulture industry has continued to expand in recent years. The county has built a total of 24,600 acres of high-yield densely planted mulberry gardens, cultivated 40 professional sericulture cooperatives, and 210 large professional sericulture households. There are three modern sericulture industrial parks at or above the county level, which have given full play to the role of business entities in leading and alleviating the poor, and have achieved organized, large-scale and intensive development of the industry, providing a solid foundation for the modern sericulture industry in the county’s “14th Five-Year Plan”Transformation and upgradinglaid a solid foundation.
