“Chi Shang Jin” Cup Chinese Hanfu Design Competition was held in Chengdu

On the evening of October 29, the “Prosperous China – Chi Shang Jin Cup Chinese Hanfu Design Competition Finals and Awards Ceremony” was held at the Starry Sky Show at Chengdu Hehuachi International Fashion and Clothing Center. 25 shortlisted contestants competed for the honor with 100 sets of cutting-edge works, creating a night of national style and neon clothes with long meaning.

The competition is guided by the China Textile Industry Federation, China Textile Industry Enterprise Management Association, China Textile Industry Federation Circulation Branch, China Fashion Designers Association, China Textile and Apparel Education Society, Chengdu Jinniu District People’s Government, Chengdu Jiarun Real Estate Group, sponsored by “Textile and Clothing Weekly” magazine, Chengdu Dacheng Market Management Co., Ltd., Chengdu Chishangjin Commercial Management Co., Ltd., Chengdu Chishangjin Hanfu Industry Development Co., Ltd. Organized by the China Textile Photography Association and supported by the Sichuan Garment (Apparel) Industry Association.

With the theme of “Charm”, this competition encourages designers to explore and refine the aesthetic connotation and national spirit of traditional Chinese clothing, create modern Hanfu that suits the new generation’s consumption concept, and drive the market value of the Hanfu industry to increase. The competition was officially launched on May 6 this year and ended on July 20. It received more than 1,000 submissions from more than 100 clothing companies, design studios, and professional design schools across the country, covering Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin. As well as 29 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities including Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Hainan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Jiangxi, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning and Inner Mongolia. During the period, the organizing committee of the competition conducted interactions on the theme of Hanfu culture with national clothing schools, Hanfu societies, research institutes, designer studios, and national style Internet celebrities, forming a “Prosperous China” style in all walks of life, integrating the promotion of the event with Hanfu The integration of cultural communication and creativity.

In addition, a Hanfu brand joint show directed by “Golden Summit Award” designer Wang Yutao and jointly created by high-quality brands in Chishangjin Hanfu characteristic industrial district such as Return to Hantang, Tongwan, Fengchan and others made a stunning debut, comprehensively displaying Hanfu The brand’s innovative achievements in cultural element mining, product development, aesthetic expression, etc.

Cutting-edge designers use avant-garde ideas, ingenious designs and exquisite craftsmanship to innovatively explore the Chinese civilization that has been passed down for thousands of years.
