Guangxi Yizhou successfully signed the Hechi Textile City project
On November 4, at the 2021 Guangxi and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area symposium to jointly build an important domestic and international dual circulation hub, Yizhou District of Hechi City successfully signed the 5 billion Hechi Textile City project .
On behalf of Yizhou District, Qi Xiao, deputy secretary of the district committee and district chief, signed a contract with Chen Junpeng, secretary-general of the Shenzhen Garment Supply Chain Association. It is understood that the total planned area of the Hechi Textile City project is about 1,100 acres, of which 1,000 acres are for production and processing, and 100 acres are for the silk fabric trading market. The first phase is planned to introduce 500 enterprises with a total investment of approximately 5 billion yuan. After the project is put into operation, it is expected that each enterprise can achieve an annual output value of 50 million to 100 million yuan, and the total annual output value can reach more than 25 billion yuan. The successful signing of the project marks a substantial step in Yizhou District’s work to build a “New Silk City of China”. After the project is implemented, Yizhou District can use the strong capital, technological innovation and market advantages of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to promote the development of the “China Silk City” brand, and provide important support for Yizhou District to integrate into the Silk Road Economic Belt.
