Recently, at the construction site of a project with an annual output of 6.8 million meters of high-end jacquard, knitted, and textile fabrics located in Qingfeng Village, Qianqing Street, several production workshops have risen from the ground, and the construction site is in full swing.
It is understood that this project is a “secondary development” carried out by Shaoxing Yuyao Textile Technology Co., Ltd. using the vacated original land. It has invested a total of 138 million yuan and plans to build 4 high-end fabric production workshops. Among them, the fixed asset investment is 128 million yuan, and it is planned to introduce domestic and foreign high-end textile and knitting machinery and other equipment to promote the upgrading of the industry.
According to Chen Huan, the project leader, the land was originally a highly polluting and high-energy-consuming printing and dyeing factory. After being relocated to the Binhai Printing and Dyeing Cluster in response to the policy requirements of printing and dyeing agglomeration in the area, the company implemented “secondary development” of the land. The construction officially broke ground at the beginning of this year, and the current construction progress is progressing in an orderly manner. The main construction of two of the production workshops is expected to be completed by the end of this year, and the entire project will be completed by the end of May next year.
In order to strengthen product research and development and innovation, the function of a research center has been added to the project. In the future, the quality of the jacquard, knitted, and textile fabric products produced by Yuyao Textile Company will be high-end and fashionable to better meet market needs. For this project, nearly 200 foreign high-end textile and knitting machinery, imported circular knitting machines, rapier looms and supporting warping machines, doffing machines and other equipment will be purchased. At present, Contact has been made with interested companies. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to achieve annual income of 301.2 million yuan, profit of 12.32 million yuan, and tax creation of 8.85 million yuan.
