The sewage treatment capacity of Shantou Chaonan Printing and Dyeing Park has been greatly increased

In order to meet the growing demand for sewage discharge and production water from textile printing and dyeing enterprises in Chaonan District, Shantou City, CITIC Environmental Technology launched Chaonan Circular Economy Industry Park (hereinafter referred to as Chaonan Project)sewage treatment plant phase II project. At present, the first phase of the second phase of the sewage treatment plant of the Chaonan project of CITIC Environment has been successfully connected to water in early 2021, and the second phase of the project has recently completed the water supply and debugging work.

As an important supporting project of the CITIC Environment Chaonan Circular Economy Industrial Park, the second phase of the sewage treatment plant has been facing tight construction schedules and heavy tasks since its start. The project team is ensuring that the projectUnder the premise of quality, manpower and material resources were concentrated to catch up with the construction period and comprehensively promote the project construction progress. The project finally successfully completed the water supply and commissioning of the second phase of the project in November 2021.

After the second phase of the sewage treatment plant in Chaonan Circular Economy Industrial Park of CITIC Environment has been fully connected, the overall sewage treatment capacity of the park and the amount of reclaimed water reused have been increased. The total scale of sewage treatment has been increased from the original 40,000 m³/day in the first phase to 155,000 m³/day. It adopts CITIC Environmental Technology’s world-leading MBR membrane reaction technology + ozone contact process. The effluent meets the requirements of the “Water Pollutants in the Textile Printing and Dyeing Industry” =”#FF8040″>Emission Standard(GB4287-2012)” limit requirements. The project uses a combination of ultrafiltration + reverse osmosis double membrane technology and EDI (electrodeionization) to convert industrial wastewater into high-quality desalted water. The park’s recycled water utilization rate reaches more than 50%, and the reclaimed water utilization scale reaches 80,000 tons/day. All are reused for daily production in the park.

CITIC Environment Chaonan Circular Economy Industrial Park, as a key project for comprehensive environmental improvement in the Lianjiang River Basin, strives to solve the two major bottlenecks of pollution and energy consumption faced by the textile printing and dyeing industry , with “circular economy” as the core concept and market-oriented operation as a means, the “six-in-one” circular economy industrial park business model integrates industrial production, sewage treatment, recycled water utilization, centralized heating, waste heat power generation, and solid waste resource disposal. , promote the formation of a closed loop between front-end energy supply and back-end wastewater, waste gas, and solid waste treatment to maximize resource utilization and minimize waste emissions, making the energy saving, pollution reduction and carbon reduction goals of the “Circular Economy Industrial Park” a reality, and effectively promoting high-tech The polluting and energy-consuming traditional textile printing and dyeing industry has transformed and upgraded, successfully releasing new momentum for the green development of national strategic pillar industries.
