The third training course on small silkworm artificial feed breeding technology in 2021 was held in Nanning

From November 15th to 18th, the Guangxi Sericulture Technology Promotion Station held the third 2021 small silkworm artificial feed breeding technology training course in Nanning. A total of 34 technical backbones from 30 commercial silkworm co-breeding rooms from major sericulture production counties (cities, districts) in the region participated in the training.

The training class organized students to conduct practical training at the Guangxi Sericulture Technology Promotion Station Artificial Feed Sericulture Demonstration Base, providing “hand-in-hand” teaching. The learning content included artificial feed wet feed production, feed feeding and other technologies for raising silkworms. During the period, Zhang Guizheng, a senior agronomist from the Guangxi Sericulture Technology Extension Station, gave a special lecture on “Co-cultivation Technology of Artificial Feed for Small Silkworms”.

This training is mainly based on practical operations, supplemented by classroom lectures. It not only improves the students’ practical ability, but also improves their theoretical knowledge. The trainees all said that the training was very fruitful and they had a deeper understanding of the co-cultivation of artificial feed for small silkworms. After returning, they should immediately improve the silkworm room facilities and gradually carry out the co-cultivation and production of artificial feed for small silkworms.
