Pingnan, Guangxi: Textile and clothing fashion conference creates a communication platform
Recently, the five-day 2021 Maritime Silk Road Textile and Clothing Fashion Conference was held in Pingnan.
This event, with the theme of “The rise of national costume culture, the take-off of Guigang’s new fashion district”, was organized by the Guangxi Chamber of International Commerce and the Maritime Silk Road Textile and Apparel Fashion Conference Organizing Committee under the guidance of the autonomous region’s light industry and textile industry investment promotion work team. Hosted by the conference, it aims to attract global fashion resources and industries by holding fashion summits, investment negotiations, fashion exhibitions, etc., and create an international fashion textile exchange platform with influence and creativity.
The activities are rich in content, including the 2022 spring and summer fashion special releases of well-known fashion brands, fashion exhibitions, China (Guigang) Textile and Apparel Fashion New District Job Fair (Pingnan Special), Bihai Silk Road Fashion Art Carnival, etc.
It is understood that, as the leading unit of the autonomous region’s light industry and textile industry investment promotion work, the Guangxi Council for the Promotion of International Trade, in conjunction with the China Textile Industry Federation and Guigang City, has created China (Guigang) The Textile and Clothing Fashion New District was settled in Pingnan and became one of the national textileindustrial transfer pilot parks. At present, the new zone has signed contracts to introduce 244 textile and apparel projects with a contract investment of 30.938 billion yuan, and 108 construction projects have been started.
