In recent years, in the face of new situations such as the acceleration of industrial transfer, the application of Internet technology, the expansion of new retail models, and changes in market segments, it is difficult for the textile and garment industry in Jimo District to rapidly To adapt to the development of the situation, the overall growth rate slowed down. Therefore, the district urgently needs to strengthen strategic guidance for the development of the textile and apparel industry, strengthen top-level design, formulate industrial strategies, determine industrial positioning, deeply tap industrial potential, and implement transformation paths. Intechnological innovation, cultural creativity, brand operation, new materials application and other aspects to achieve breakthroughs, promote the textile and clothing industry to move up the level, and further consolidate the pillar position of the textile and clothing industry.
In August this year, the China Textile Construction Planning Institute, together with the Jimo District Industry and Information Technology Bureau, conducted an on-site investigation of more than 20 representative textile and garment enterprises in Jimo (including different sizes and different industrial chain links), and visited the clothing market, small During the on-site investigation, a symposium of textile and apparel representative companies and a symposium of market merchants were held to discuss planning and preparation in Licun Fabric Market, Youth Innovation City, Bangkok Sunshine and other garment industry-related business districts. At the same time, letters were sent to relevant departments to collect basic data and materials related to the textile and apparel industry to gain an in-depth understanding of the foundation of the Jimo textile and apparel industry. On the basis of research and demonstration, the China Textile Construction and Planning Institute formed the first draft of the “Jimo Textile and Garment Industry “14th Five-Year Plan” Development Plan”.
At the demonstration meeting, everyone spoke highly of the contribution of the China Textile Construction and Planning Institute to the development plan of the textile and garment industry in Jimo District. At the same time, they also criticized the lack of thorough analysis of the industrial foundation and the lack of detailed development goal setting in the first draft. In-depth and heated discussions were held on a series of issues such as insufficient development direction guidance, insufficient use of the advantages of “industry + market”, and unclear planning and implementation paths.
