On December 10, Yang Yue, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and President of the Shaanxi Provincial Economic Federation, and a group of 5 people came to Mei County to investigate the development of the textile printing and dyeing industry. Yang Yue and his party went to Xingzhou Textile, Boyu Textile, Youjia Ribbon and other places, visited the product exhibition hall and the company’s production workshop, and learned more about the company’s facilities and equipment as well as production, operation and sales. Yang Yue affirmed the work of the textile industry in Mei County and encouraged enterprises to continue to increase technological innovation and technological transformation, promote product upgrades through technological optimization, and improve core competitiveness.
It is understood that there are currently 59 textile processing enterprises in Mei County, including 20 enterprises above designated size. From January to October this year, they achieved an output value of 10 billion yuan. It has more than 6,400 sets of looms, a spinning capacity of 680,000 spindles, an annual output of 71,000 tons of cotton yarn, an annual output of 510 million meters of gray fabrics, and 50 million meters of printed and dyed fabrics. There are 12 textile foreign trade export enterprises in the county, with a total export volume of 330 million yuan, accounting for 86.8% of the county’s total foreign trade export volume.
