Vietnam’s consumer price index for clothing, hats and footwear increased by .%

According to the General Bureau of Statistics of Vietnam, Vietnam’s consumer price index (CPI) in February this year (2016) increased by 0.42% compared with the previous month (January), and increased by 0.42% compared with December last year (2015), and also increased by 0.42% compared with last year (2015). It rose 1.27% over the same period.

Except for housing and building materials, transportation costs and postal and telecommunications costs, which fell by 0.41%, 3.96% and 0.16% respectively, all other goods and services increased;

Among them, catering services increased by 1.98%, beverages and cigarettes increased by 1.15%, ready-made clothing, hats and footwear increased by 0.45%, furniture and equipment increased by 0.19%, medicines and health services increased by 0.06%, education expenses increased by 0.26%, culture and entertainment and tourism and other service fees increased by 0.71%, and other goods and services increased by 0.80%.
