According to customs statistics, my country’s exports of textiles and clothing in March 2016 were approximately US$16.852 billion, a year-on-year increase of 34.10% and a month-on-month increase of 7.63%. Among them, exports of textile yarns, fabrics and products were US$7.923 billion, a year-on-year increase of 34.78%, and a month-on-month increase of 30.25%; exports of clothing and clothing accessories were US$8.929 billion, a year-on-year increase of 33.50%, and a month-on-month decrease of 6.75%.
From January to March 2016, my country’s total exports of textiles and clothing were US$56.641 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 5.26%. Among them, exports of textiles were US$23.456 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 2.24%; exports of clothing were US$33.185 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 7.28%.
