According to customs statistics, my country’s exports of textiles and clothing in April 2016 were approximately US$20.859 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.95% and a month-on-month increase of 23.78%. Among them, exports of textile yarns, fabrics and products were US$9.664 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2.59%, and a month-on-month increase of 21.97%; exports of clothing and clothing accessories were US$11.196 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.07%, and a month-on-month increase of 25.38%.
From January to April 2016, my country’s total exports of textiles and clothing were US$77.5 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 2.71%. Among them, exports of textiles were US$33.12 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 0.88%; exports of clothing were US$44.381 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 4.04%.
