Sales of U.S. clothing and apparel stores increased by .% year-on-year
The latest retail sales data released by the U.S. Bureau of Statistics in 2016 showed that the overall retail sales in the United States in March 2016 were US$446.9 billion, a slight decrease of 0.3% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 1.7%.
In March, sales of U.S. clothing and apparel specialty stores were US$21.14 billion, a month-on-month decrease of 0.9% and a year-on-year increase of 0.1%. General store sales amounted to US$56.394 billion, a month-on-month increase of 0.5% and a year-on-year increase of 1.2%.
